Registration Instructions
TouchTrak® is a new, simple, automated attendant system used to capture closings and delays from local schools and businesses. To use the system you must first pre-register with WTHR Channel-13. In order to guarantee authenticity, please take the following steps to register your school or business:
1) Prepare a letter on your company's letterhead with the name of your school or business, the mailing address, the name of the person responsible for closing your business, your phone number, your fax number, the number employees or students affected and the county in which you are located.
2) Either fax the letter to: 632-6720, or mail it to:

3) A follow up letter will also be mailed to your official business address. You will be activated at that time.
Calling Instructions
Once registered, you will be given a local phone number (and an optional 800 number for those out of the local calling area) for posting your closing information. You will need your ID number and Password in order to a hear the menu choices. When you call, here is what will happen:
You will hear:
1) "Welcome to WTHR Touchtrak."
2) "Please enter your 4-digit ID number." Enter your number at this point. If the number is invalid, the prompt will be repeated, up to three times.
3) "Please enter your 4-digit Password." Enter your password at this point. If the number is invalid, the prompt will be repeated, up to three times.
4) If both the ID and Password are correct, you will hear the words "Authorization accepted," then the menu will be played.
5) "Please listen to the following options. Press 1 to close or delay {today}, press 2 to close or delay {tomorrow}, or star to exit." The words "today" and "tomorrow" are the actual days of the week you are calling. For example, if you call at 4:50 am on Tuesday, the prompts would be for Tuesday and Wednesday only.
6) "Options for {day chosen}: Press 1 to close, 2 for a 2-hour delay, 3 for a 1-hour delay, or press star to start over."
7) If you pressed 1, the prompt says "Closed."
If you pressed 2, the prompt says "2-Hour Delay."
If you pressed 3, the prompt says "1-Hour Delay."
If you pressed *, prompt goes back to step 5 above.
8) "Press 1 to accept, 2 to redo, or * to exit." At this point if you press 1, your entry is saved in our database, and the information is ready for "on-air" and will be displayed on our website. If you choose 2, you will be redirected to step 6 above.
9) "Press 1 for Kindergarten or * to exit." If you don't have a kindergarten, press star now and you are done. If you do have a kindergarten, press 1 and keep going.
10) "To close AM Kindergarten press 1, to close PM Kindergarten press 2, for Alternate Kindergarten press 3, or press * to exit". Pressing * will end your session.
If you pressed 1, the prompt says "AM Kindergarten closed."
If you pressed 2, the prompt says "PM Kindergarten closed."
If you pressed 3, the prompt says "Alternate Kindergarten Activated."
11) "Press 1 to accept, 2 to redo, or * to exit." If you press 1, your entry is saved in our database, and the information is ready for "on-air" and will be displayed on our website. If you choose 2, you will be redirected to step 10 above.
That's it. Mostly. When you call, you will hear a voice of Chuck Lofton, SkyTrak Meteorologist. If you need to make a special addition to the standard prompts above, your registration package will give you the phone number to call for personal attention.
